With its tongue-in-cheek humour, Bad Love is full of wonderful historical detail and an authentic voice. Louisa Trent has a deft, light touch, making the story both contemporarily relevant and historically accurate. I particularly liked the deeper theme running through the story.

I found Bad Love to be a great story about forgiving oneself and learning to love. Siam's character is a delightful mix of naivety yet worldly knowledge that comes across as refreshing. Theo is a dominant man who will do what it takes to please Siam, giving her the false sense of being submissive... The sexual chemistry grows between Siam and Theo and the sex is just plain hot... I enjoy reading Ms. Trent's books and Bad Love is going on the list as a great summer read.
