Louisa Trent - Author of Erotic Romance

Virgin Enriched

Book #5 - Virgin Series of Gilded Age Erotic Romance

Late 19th century erotic romance. Like the other novels in this collection this novel takes place in the same time period and setting but the books can be read in any order.

Two lonely people - a wealthy gentleman of the law and an impoverished young woman of writerly intent - come together for a specified period of time. He means to assuage his thwarted carnality while she thinks to fill a decidedly sexual void in her education. Neither anticipates anything more profound than erotic satisfaction from their association and yet... and yet... something happens.

And the agreed upon period of time doesn’t seem nearly long enough.

To either of them.

Late 19th Century Boston was a time of major changes in the developing city. Faneuil Hall and Beacon Hill were then, as now, places for prominant Bostonians to reside and go about thier business. Today these locations are major tourist attractions but in the Gilded Age there were at the heard of a thriving social scene and bustling marketplace. Fanueil Hall Marketplace has undergone dramatic changes over it's nearly three centuries in Boston.

After writing about so many independent women in my novels I thought it was time to include a burgeoning author. Phoebe, like the other heroines in the series, is an independent thinking woman with her own dreams and aspirations. In Phoebe's case her aspirations are to become a writer and the newly popular "dime novels" that became popular in the late 1900s are her means to that end. This early form of pulp fiction became popular in the later part of the 19th century and was a precursor to the popular paperback novels that followed in the 20th century.
